Wonderful. I am guessing we would be good friends. :)
I'm quite sure you're right. :)
I got a lot done this morning, but pretty much wasted away the whole afternoon. I'm sure its just a coincidence that the Internet was out in the morning at it came back after lunch. * Classic Scooby-Doo background paintings, nice! For a good read, I recommend checking out "My Life in Pictures" by Iwao Takamoto, character designer for the original Scooby series. He talks a lot about the shows origins and his playful meetings with conspiracy theory obsessed fans. Plus its so worth reading the end were he says "And thats how I got away with it thanks to those meddling kids and their dog."*Arthur Rackham's Fairy Tale illustration. They don't get much better than this!* I was out with my mom at the mall were someone had a T-Shirt that said "We're on a mission from God" and I had to explain the reference. It was only then I realized that Blues Brothers is kind of a weird film. Though I'll gladly take explaining Illinois Nazis over telling her what Fifty Shades of Gray is about.
Is Iwao Takamoto's book called 'My life in a thousand characters'? I really want to check that out. Was googling it just now. I still can't get over the fact that you had to explain 50 Shades to your mother. makes my skin crawl every time I think of it. FFS.
You have the right title. I must have been thinking of something else.
Cool. I just wanted to make sure. Now, get some work done!
This was a great pic dump! I laughed so hard when I saw that leaping lion, HA! And that Goonies LEGO set! I'm so excited, I'm going to support the project on LEGO CUUSSO and help make it a reality! They've made an official Back to the Future set and a Ghostbusters set, so I think there's a good chance this will be approved if they get 10,000 supporters! https://ideas.lego.com/projects/45109
Thanks Mason! And I really hope the Goonies Lego set becomes a reality. It's about time for them to do something for that movie.
Leave a comment - No seriously... then I don't have to talk to myself.
